Artist Statement
As a photographer and visual magpie, I use the camera to collect and accumulate all things that I find fascinating, inspiring or that I simply covet. My photographs serve as aide-mémoires and are usually formal compositions worthy of contemplation and possible transformation later using another medium. Many times, collections of images coalesce and indicate a similar focus. I find myself being drawn to the same things on many trips over the years.
